Agita Reķe (LV) is a sound artist, and recently has also begun creating live projections and visuals. In her artistic practice, Reķe explores spatial electronic sound and textural sound synthesis, with a focus on the perception of sonic space. In her audiovisual performances, Reķe is interested in the interaction between image, sound, and environment, and in how audiences engage with audiovisual space in a contemplative and perceptual way. In this musical project, Reķe combines acoustic performance (violin) with electronics and visuals. She aims to create an immersive, emotionally immediate sonic environment centered on perceptual intimacy.
