Allosci (LT) is a creative duo by Gabrielė Griciūtė and Andrius Mackevičius. Their practice combines environmental sound, experimental electronics, and narrative structures, with a focus on the physicality of sound and vibration, deep listening, and the interplay between techno and sound art.
The works traverse diverse thematic territories – from aquatic ecosystems (Panthalassa) and domestic sonic environments (House Hold) to auditory illusions (Diana Deutsch’s Phantom Words) and subtle satire of electromagnetic communication systems (Free Mobile). Despite this diversity, the album maintains a cohesive exploration of the relationship between sound, environment, and perception.
Positioned between a listening experience and a club-oriented performance, Allosci’s live sets seek to bridge physical, dance-based engagement with analytical and reflective modes of listening.
