Evija Ābrama’s (LV) performance explores how information transforms when conveyed through materials that become active agents in their own right – old cassette tapes, mechanical wear, and sound effects. As a result, the original message becomes unrecognizable, yet it is precisely this distortion that reveals the unstable nature of memory and the archive. The performance poses the question: are we even capable of remembering "correctly"? The cassette, once a reliable medium for information, now becomes an unreliable storyteller – attempting to convey a message while inevitably distorting it.
