Natas Kunas (LT) is a Vilnius-based composer and audio(visual) artist. His practice spans electroacoustic ambient and synthesized drones, field recordings, sound art, film and theatre soundtracks and increasing bursts of experimental filmmaking, creating immersive, slow-evolving worlds that explore texture, decay, and the uncanny. Whether through haunting soundscapes, dense timbrality or the interplay of aural and visual storytelling, his work lingers in the spaces between noise and silence, the familiar and the alien.
Sound art focus: geological time, noise pollution, soundscape ecology, hydroacoustics. Visual focus: slow observation, sculpting in time, subject-less narrative potential, the eerie and mystical.
