Zahnrad is a Latvian noise/power electronics project, founded in the summer of 2007 in Jelgava. Synthesizers, guitars, drums as well as field recordings, pieces of iron, empty barrels, etc. are used in recordings and live performances. In the discography, currently consisting of about twenty-five web and physical releases, in addition to solo albums, collaborations and splits with ideologically close artists from around the world are.

Since the first performance (November 24, 2007 at the Riga Depo), Zahnrad regularly performs both at local industrial events and in other countries.
